Wear Sunscreen

Wear Sunscreen

Although it's probably surprising to post this now that the summer is over, I thought it would be the perfect time to remind everyone that even in the fall and winter sunscreen is a MUST!

A lot of skincare products now contain some protection, but most do not have enough.  Usually they contain SPF 15.  Most guidelines (including the Skin Cancer Foundation) recommend at least SPF 30.  Interestingly they also recommend not going over SPF 50.  According to the above article, any protection above SPF 50 is minimal and can actually lead to people taking less care when seeking shelter from the sun, wearing hats or using sense when avoiding the sun.  *Puts down bottle of SPF 75*

However, as someone who takes religious care of her skin, I have always been waring of putting SPF directly on my face in a cream form.  I've tried countless products and have always found them to clog my pores and cause horrendous breakouts.

Last summer, I went into Sephora asking about my options.  I tried a whole range of prices and applicators.  The one that I loved and kept coming back to was "Supergoop" Setting Mist with Rosemary SPF 50.

It's been a year and I'm still in love.  It's a spray, so the application is super easy (just make sure to shake it well).

I also love that it goes on over my makeup (sets it), gives me max protection, smells delicious (like rosemary), and has a matte finish.

Honestly, it's a product I recommend to everyone and have in multiple sizes for travel accessibility!  (I've gotten most of my friends hooked on it!)

Let me know what you think!  If you aren't sure on it, remember you can always purchase at Sephora and give it a go!  Or at Anthropologie you can try out their small size and some of their other products too!

Keep taking good care of your skin loves! x
