Galentine's Day Spectacular!

Galentine's Day Spectacular!

I had an absolute blast co-hosting a Galentine's Day party with my bestie on February 13th.  We hosted it at one of my favorite spots in the city, Kingston Hall (because they have prosecco on tap and the staff there are amazing).

We used Paperless Post Flyers for the invitation, loved the "Ovaries before Broveries", very on theme.

My bestie made Oreo brownie cupcakes (dreamy) and I made these M&M Chocolate Chip Heart cookies.  I took my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe (Nestle Tollhouse [should be read in "Friends" Phoebe's French accent]) and substituted the 1 cup nuts for 1 cup of M&Ms.  I baked as directed and then took a heart cookie cutter to individually cut out the hearts.

We also purchased some v-day candies and ring pops (bc duh)!

I made the banner from my favorite Michael's glitter paper.  (Check back in soon for my easy guide to making banners for your next event!)

We added a little more personalization to the night with little lights under faux rose petals.

All in all, everyone had a lovely time, I love hosting events like this as it's a great way for me to connect women from various corners of my life together.

Did you host a Galentine's Day event?  Let me know what you did to celebrate!
