Red, White & Rosé

Red, White & Rosé

Rosé aka Summer Water.

We all love it, and it just keeps getting more popular.  I feel like it's a great in between for your white wine loving friends and your red wine loving friends.  A bottle we can all agree on.  I especially love myself a sparkling rosé, and my match is Chandon's Rosé.  (This is not a sponsored post, I just love Chandon.)  I love it because it is a sparkling wine on the drier side, less likely to make you crawl to brunch the next day via a hangover.

In the spirit of summer, I decided to throw a "Red, White & Rosé" party for some girlfriends on my roof, and thought I'd share with you some neat tricks and things you could do to throw your own fête!

... and with the "Red, White & Blue" holiday around the corner, here is some inspo to transform your standard party into a rosé one!

ALL IN THE DETAILS

Nothing makes a party feel more special or glamorous than details.  I made sure for this party that everything matched my rosé/rose gold pink theme.  Party City is a great resource for any holiday, with the prices and color selection you can never go wrong.

Things I needed to throw the perfect par-tay:
- Rose straws
- YES WAY ROSÉ napkins & CHEERS champagne-shaped napkins
- RED, WHITE & ROSÉ banner (made by moi, message me for pricing on getting your own customized banner)
- Customized RED, WHITE & ROSÉ sugar cookies (made by moi)
- Rose garland
- Sunscreen (Keep you and your guests healthy, check my post about sunscreen for my loves)
- Hand fans (Keep your guests cool!  I have a wide selection that I use everyday in the summer, so I kept them out for guests.  You can usually get them at the dollar store for a couple of bucks, definitely worth it.)
- Rose gold forks
- Chevron rose gold glasses
- Clear plastic plates (When planning a party, if I can't find something in the color I want - I always go for clear)
- Iradescent (disposable) table cloth
- ROSÉ ALL DAY dishtowel  (to pop your bubbly, duh!)
- Hot pink ice tub

FOOD

Although I provided snacks, a case of Chandon and a lot of sparkling water.  I would definitely recommend having your guests bring snacks and bites too!  My friends wow'd with empanadas, homemade guacamole, tortellini salad, zucchini fritters and so much more!

Sadly my fab plastic wine glasses were gotten from previous Chandon events (yes, I like to hoard glassware!) you can find lots of great options on Amazon and event scavenging your local World Market or Marshall's!

Even though I love my Chandon, there are lots of great brands to try.  Maybe you could make your rosé party a "Rosés Around the World" theme, and have your guests bring a wine from different countries?  Or even make it a little more "Americana" and have your guests drink rosé 40s.  Yes, rosé 40s are really a thing... Here is photographic evidence of me drinking one in Williamsburg last summer.

Overall the event was a great success, the ladies had a fab time talking into the night and we even ended it at a local dive bar!  Gotta love showing up glam to a dive bar, the best way to end an evening!

Have fun with your rosé event, at the end of the day it's sharing laughter and love over delicious wine.  (Don't forget to stay hydrated and drink responsibly!)  Please tag me in photos so I can see how mine helped inspire yours #newyorkinheels @newyorkinheels
